Local Home Care Service Celebrates “Health Care Heroes” in the Community

WILLIAMSBURG — This week, just one neighborhood overall health care worker was honored for heading earlier mentioned and outside of in her task.

Conserving Grace Dwelling Care, a Williamsburg-based home health and fitness care service, questioned other local healthcare businesses to nominate their “health treatment hero.”

The strategy originated when Saving Grace House Care selected to rejoice a person of their personal employees, Glenda Keen.

“She is a rockstar,” Mary Brown, director of Saving Grace Property Treatment, stated. “She’s worked doubles, she’s labored triples in the snow and the rain. She’s under no circumstances called out sick, under no circumstances arrive in late, never complained.”

“We just know that when she’s on the scenario of an aged or disabled person that they are likely to get the care that we explain to absolutely everyone in the group that we offer, but she is going to go 10 ways above that,” Brown extra.

The corporation offered Eager with items to exhibit their appreciation. Right after that, Brown made a decision to acknowledge yet another “health care hero,” and asked for nominations from other community wellness care organizations.

“The response was really excellent,” Brown explained.

Dee Dee McCoy, a health care worker with Williamsburg Landing, was decided on for this year’s award. Williamsburg Landing’s Chief Scientific Officer Vonnie Adams claimed that McCoy was nominated for usually placing residents’ demands initially.

“She is an exemplary employee,” Adams claimed. “Residents go on to set her name at the top of their checklist when sending in compliments or nominations for efficiency awards. She certainly brings to daily life the terms of Williamsburg Landing’s mission and cultural values.”

Saving Grace Residence Care shocked McCoy at her place of work and introduced her with a reward basket and a $200 verify.

Brown explained that she would like to continue on the “health treatment hero” contest in the long run.

“We just want the local community to know that, with all the undesirable stuff which is heading on, there are people in the trenches that will need to be celebrated,” she stated.
